Thanks for the suggestion. Facebook insights are currently on our to-do of new integrations. While you wait, GeckoboardApps currently have a Facebook widget that shows you how many 'likes' a page has, if that is of any help.
I would like to add the Facebook "likes" widget to my dashboard. I follow the instructions on geckoboardapps.com, but the widget does not load properly on the dashboard. It just shows up blank? Any suggestions?
Thank you

Hi Dave,
Could you let me know the page name you are trying to show likes for and I can have a look into it for you.
I've had a look into this and to get the widget working you need to enter 94137343500 (the end of the URL) into the "Page Name or ID" and it should work. Have a go and let me know if you're still having difficulties.

Hi Ciara,
Is Geckoboard open to third party for development of widgets?
I mean can I come out with a Facebook widget for Geckoboard?
If so, can you help me with the documentation and all?
However, we're currently looking into having a platform for customers to develop widgets and make it available to other customers. If you'd be interested in this we could keep you informed about the developments.

Hi Ciara,
Yes, I am interested in having such a platform. something like an Apple Appstore. Such that I create an app for Geckoboard and its displays in the GB widget list.
It would act as a good boost for the GB as there are many developers waiting to use the potential of GB for their growth as well.
Do keep me updated about it.

Hi Ciara,
Can you tell me about how much time it may take for that feature to be reality.
I mean if you could tell me something like "It may take months" or "it may take days" or "it may take years"
Something like a rough estimate.

Hi Ian,
If you'd be interested in testing it out before it goes live we would hope it to have something for you to play with in 2-3 weeks. We'll be testing it for a little while before it goes live.

Whatever happened to the work on the Facebook insights widget? Is this still under development, or have any 3rd parties produced one? Thanks!

Hi Val - There's a Facebook likes widget that was created a third-party (http://j.mp/geckowidgets) or are your requirements more involved?

Hello —
I'm with Val and we do have some more involved requirements. Ideally we'd hook into the Graph (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/). Do you currently have any Geckoboard-created or third-party widgets that accomplish this?

Hi Max. No, not that I'm aware of. What are the specific charts and widgets you'd most like to see?

Hello —
We'd look at site engagement, distribution on Facebook, referral traffic, and organic shares. These would be line graphs. We'd also like to be able to plot location on the map... Thoughts?

Hi Paul, what's the URL to your Facebook page so that I can test this out and try and find a solution for you? Thanks.
I just grabbed the Budweiser and placed it in the designated spot. I'm thinking it could be age-gated that is causing the problem. Would there be anyway around it?
Thanks for looking into this for me.

Hi Paul, I've taken a look at this for you and you're right, the age block is causing an issue with this third-party widget. I'll drop you an email with ways around it.

Hi Ian,
At the moment the way to do this would be to develop a custom widget using the API [http://support.geckoboard.com/forums/207979-geckoboard-api].
However, we're currently looking into having a platform for customers to develop widgets and make it available to other customers. If you'd be interested in this we could keep you informed about the developments.
