I too would find this useful, but my requirments would be:

  • A noise when a message arrives
  • How many "Open" ticket (just tickets with the "open" status)
  • The first 5-10 messages
  • Staff that are online

This would be a great add-on.

This would be pretty awesome to have. I'm trying to write it based on their REST API (http://wiki.kayako.com/display/DEV/REST+-+TicketCount) but it's not proving fruitfull
