How to display generated graphics and graphics that display instantly on your Geckoboard dashboard using Bannerbear.

Updated over a week ago

Learn how to use our Bannerbear data source to display generated images and graphics, using Bannerbear's API or Zapier. For this guide we'll use Zapier and Bannerbear to automatically generate an image displaying your latest Delighted NPS rating.

  1. In Bannerbear, create a new template that includes containers (layers) for your review text and review score. To extend it further you could add the reviewer’s image and name. Make sure to name each container as it'll help when matching them in Zapier.

  2. Switch to Zapier and create a new Zap with a Schedule trigger set to every day (or as often as you need).

  3. In Zapier, create a new Zap that triggers when a new response or review comes in your chosen platform. In this example we’ve used Delighted.

  4. Add a Create Image in Bannerbear action that creates an image based on your trigger.

  5. Under Set up action, select your review template, and use Modifications to match the containers in your design to the information pulled from your chosen platform. For this example I’m using the latest Delighted NPS score and comment.

  6. Switch to Geckoboard and create a Bannerbear widget.

  7. Select your template and choose to show the latest image.
