With Status indicators and Slack notifications, you can receive an alert when a threshold criteria on numerical KPIs is met. Setting up notifications ensures that your team is aware of important changes to your key metrics—wherever they are.
How to configure notifications
To get notified in Slack, follow these steps:
If you haven't already, set up status indicators for your Number or Gauge visualizations.
Click + Add Slack notification and connect to Slack if prompted.
In the Post to field, select the channel you'd like to be notified in.
Click Close.
When to expect notifications
When the threshold criteria for your Status indicators are met, a notification will be sent to the Slack channel you've configured.
