Data accuracy and freshness are key components of Geckoboard, so we want to ensure you're aware of any compromise, even if temporary.
When you connect to Geckoboard for the first time, we import historical data from your account. Depending on the volume of data in your account, the import may take a few moments to complete. During this process, we allow you to continue building widgets while the import runs in the background.
If your import is still processing, we'll display an alert at the top of the screen to indicate this and a warning icon on the widgets that show partial data. Once the import is complete, any warning messages and icons will disappear.
For example, if you build a widget with a time period of the last 30 days, but your import is still pending completion, it may not contain all of the data from the last 30 days yet. In these cases, we'll allow you to continue building widgets with the data source but temporarily display the warning.
