You must be on a paid Pingdom plan to use this data source as their free plan doesn't allow API access.
Add a new Pingdom widget from your dashboard.
Select a widget type from the list.
On the connection panel Name this connection and provide your Pingdom API Token.
If you've already generated an API token in Pingdom, click Connect. If not, follow the remaining steps.To generate your API token, log into Pingdom and click the Integrations icon in the left hand menu.
On the following screen, click the green Add API Token button. If you haven't generated any tokens before look for it in the bottom right corner.
In the pop-up Add API token window enter a name for your token e.g. Geckoboard and select Read-Write access. Click Generate token to confirm.
You'll now see your new API token. Click Copy to copy it to your clipboard.
Switch back to Geckoboard and paste the API token in the connection panel, then click Connect.
