To display a Geckoboard dashboard on a screen, you'll need a computer device connected to your display. Here's what we recommend.
What makes a good dashboard display device
Any computer that can run the latest version of Chrome or Firefox can power a large screen for displaying dashboards.
The best devices also support kiosk-mode apps, which automatically load your dashboard in full screen when the device powers on, with no manual interaction needed.

Unlike casting from your laptop or using smart TV browsers, a dedicated device:
Runs 24/7 without performance degradation
Recovers automatically after power outages
Doesn't tie up your personal computer
Provides a consistent, reliable dashboard display
For a seamless experience, we suggest connecting the device running our kiosk app to a smart plug, which lets you switch it on and off remotely.

Windows hardware
We have a kiosk app for Windows, and below are its minimum requirements:
Windows 10 / 11, 32-bit or 64-bit
Dual-core processor or higher (preferably quad-core processor or higher)
4 GB of RAM or higher (preferably 8 GB of RAM or higher)
32 GB of storage or higher (preferably 64 GB or higher)
HDMI port
WiFi or Ethernet
Able to run the latest version of Chrome or Firefox
Given its availability and compatibility with the above requirements, we recommend:
Raspberry Pi
Our kiosk app supports any Raspberry Pi that runs the latest Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit) version. However, we only recommend the Pi 4 Model B and Pi 5 (for the Pi 4 Model B, we recommend a minimum of 4GB of RAM). For software, we support Raspberry Pi OS Trixie.
