Why am I seeing a "widget does not exist" message?

There are two possible reasons why you may be seeing a widget does not exist message when pushing data onto Geckoboard:

  1. The widget isn't yet fully created
    You can only push to widgets that have been saved. Once you've configured your widget, save it using the Add widget button.
  2. The widget was originally polling and later switched to push
    If this is the case, Delete the widget and create a new push one from scratch.
