Each widget on your Geckoboard dashboard connects to its own data source, for example, Salesforce, Google Sheets, or Zendesk. Different widgets on the same dashboard can connect to different data sources. The option on how to check what data source is powering a widget depends on your permission level.
How to check which data source a widget is using
Editors:
Hover over the data source icon in the bottom left corner of the widget and a tooltip will display the data source name along with the refresh rate.
Alternatively, edit the widget and you can review the entire configuration.
Viewers:
If you see an ellipsis in the top right, click this and you should see a Drilldown or Source data option; click one of those options and in the modal that appears, you'll see the data source icon in the top left for the service powering your widget.
If you don't have the above options, you'll need to check with your organization admin or account owner for more details on what data sources power the dashboard you're interested in.
