Display customer satisfaction scores using Image widgets

Learn how pairing our Image widget with tools like PagePixels can schedule screenshots of your ratings.

Updated over 2 months ago

While we don't yet integrate with customer review services like Trustpilot and Google, you can use tools like PagePixels to schedule screenshots of your ratings and display them on an Image widget.

Image widgets displaying Trustpilot and Google review scores
  1. In PagePixels, after creating a new screenshot, set how often you'd like it to take this screenshot.

  2. Paste the URL you'd like to capture. For Trustpilot and Google, this is the URL where your business' ratings appear.

  3. By default, a screenshot of the entire window is taken, but you can provide a CSS selector to screenshot only a specific part of the page.

    1. Inspect the code in your browser to find the CSS selector you need. The example below is from Trustpilot.

  4. When you've finished configuring your screenshot, save it. This will generate the share URL and take the first screenshot.

  5. From the gallery, click the gear icon beside your image, then click Share URL and copy it.

  6. Return to your Geckoboard dashboard and add a new Image widget.

  7. Select the Link tab.

  8. Paste the copied URL from PagePixels into the Link field, then click Save. Your image will now appear on your dashboard.
