Learn how to add emoji to a widget using Mac OS and Windows.

Using Emoji can help convey extra meaning and emotion to the text on your dashboard. You can add Emoji to a dashboard through titles, labels, and the text widget.

Mac OS

  1. Position the cursor in a text field where you’d like to add an Emoji. For example, you can do that to a label you're editing:

  2. To bring up a list of Emoji, press cmd + ctrl + space on your keyboard.

  3. You can scroll through all the available Emoji and categories (Smileys & People, Animals & Nature, Food & Drink, etc) or search the full list of Emoji from the search box at the top of the window.

  4. Once you’ve found the emoji you’d like to add, click on it and it’ll appear in your text box to the left of the cursor.

Windows

  1. Position the cursor in a text field where you’d like to add an Emoji. For example, you can do that to a label you're editing:

  2. Press WIN + . or WIN + ; to open the Emoji keyboard:

  3. Once you’ve found the emoji you’d like to add, click on it and it’ll appear in your text box to the left of the cursor:
