If your Google Ads widgets are displaying errors or appear blank, follow the steps below based on the specific issue you're experiencing.
Widget errors
If there's an issue with your connection, it's possible you may see the following errors on rare occasions:
"There was a problem when we tried to load your widget"
"Expired access token: unable to load widget"
To resolve this, you'll need to create a new connection:
Open a new incognito window in your browser and log into Geckoboard (make sure you're not signed into any Google accounts in this window).
Head to your dashboard and click the ellipsis on an existing widget, then select Edit.
Select the + Add account button to create a new connection with Google Ads.
Edit any other Google Ads widgets to use the new connection.
Blank widgets with no data
Blank Google Ads widgets usually happen when you have AdBlocker or a similar extension enabled. To fix this:
Disable AdBlocker or similar extensions in your browser for
*.geckoboard.com
.Refresh your browser and your widgets will display data as expected.
