Arrange widgets on a dashboard

Learn how to move, resize, and group widgets together on your dashboard.

There are a few ways to change the layout of widgets on your dashboard: moving the widgets around, resizing widgets to emphasize hierarchy or importance, and grouping widgets together to clearly showcase related data.

How can widgets be moved to change the dashboard layout?

To move widgets, simply click, then drag and drop. As you do so, a box will appear indicating where you can drop the widget.

How can widgets be resized to make them smaller or larger?

To resize your widget's height or width, click and drag the side of the widget. Drag toward the widget center to make it smaller, or drag away from the widget center to increase its size.

How can widgets be grouped together to show the relationship between metrics?

To group widgets, click on a widget you want to group, then drag and drop it on top of another widget and a group will be created.

To resize widgets in a group, click and drag the side boundary of a widget in or out to increase or decrease its size within the group.

To change the orientation of widgets in a group, hover over the top right and click the settings icon, and select your preferred widget layout.

What does the widget message "Too small to display" mean?

When a widget is too small for its content to be legible, the message "too small to display" will appear. To ensure the content is readable, increase the widget’s height, width, or both to provide more space for your visualization.
