Data volume allowances and add-ons

Learn more about data volume allowances and add-ons for accounts using large volumes of data.

The Aircall, Shopify, and Zendesk Support data sources require Geckoboard to import, store, and update data in real-time. Processing large volumes of data, therefore, requires additional resources from our systems.

Each plan includes a data volume allowance, with higher-tier plans including more data as standard than lower-tier plans. On the Performance plan, you can increase your data volume allowance by contacting us to add an add-on to your subscription. The Essentials plan does not support data add-ons, so accounts that need higher allowance will need to upgrade.

For Enterprise plans: Allowances are tailored to your account, with additional data volume priced based on your requirements. Contact us to discuss data volume pricing.

Common questions

Where can I view my data volume usage?

To view usage, an Account owner can visit the Plans and billing page, then locate the Additional data volume label for your plan and select the question mark icon. This will open a modal that displays current usage and pricing for additional usage.

What if I exceed my data volume allowance?

Don’t worry - we’ll continue to process data updates beyond your subscription’s data volume allowance and get in touch with you to discuss an upgrade.

What if my data volume needs change over time?

Please reach out to our team to make changes to your data volume allowance.

What if I have a sudden, unexpected spike, such as spam tickets, calls, or a one-time import?

If a one-off event causes you to exceed your data volume allowance, but we can see it’s due to a single spike, you won’t need to upgrade your plan.
