Google Analytics 4 has replaced Universal Analytics

Make the switch to Google Analytics 4 to visualize your data in Geckoboard.

Updated this week

As of July 2024, Google has stopped processing data for Universal Analytics (UA), and the service has been fully replaced with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

If you haven't already, we recommend creating a GA4 property. Then, you'll be able to connect with Geckoboard and begin visualizing new data going forward.

If you're not sure whether you have a property set up already or if you were using UA in the past, it's possible that Google created a property automatically. You'll want to review your Google Analytics account to determine this.

To get started with the GA4 data source, head over to this guide.
