404 errors in Geckoboard

Learn why you might see a 404 error on a dashboard, sharing link, or Send to screen display.

Here are the most common reasons you might see a 404 error in Geckoboard:

  • Account suspended: Ask the account owner to log in and confirm that billing information is up to date and no payments are overdue.

  • Sharing link deleted or regenerated: Check with the person who sent you the share link to find out if the link was revoked and why.

  • Connected screen removed: If you're viewing the dashboard using Send to screen, contact the account owner to confirm the account is active and the dashboard is accessible, and if the screen is still configured.

  • Restricted network or location: If the dashboard has IP address restrictions, confirm with the account owner that your IP address is included in the allowed range.

  • Service outage: Check the current status of Geckoboard on our status page.
